Prophetic Proclamation for 2025 The Year of Divine Discernment By: ++Dr. TL Elliott, DD, CBT, CC As the Body of Christ and as created human beings, there is a spiritual word from the LORD that I believe or trust HE has released to all of us to invest our time and efforts in receiving, knowing, and using. Our spiritual lives is all about developing our godly character based upon what we see, hear and know when it comes to things of the LORD. As a result, I am compelled by the Spirit of the LORD to make this profound spiritual claim. I declare by the grace of the LORD that in the year of 2025, we will be called to operate in “divine discernment” if we have not embraced this lifestyle already. As I make this claim in the name of the LORD, I must clarify what is meant by the term “divine discernment.” There are a few Hebrew and Greek words that give us the core definition of the word discernment to set our foundation of understanding. Let me share and place those words in your hearing as we shape our thoughts and understanding to declare our divine assignment for 2025. A Hebrew word for “discern” is “nakar,” which means for one to recognize, to observe, to acknowledge and/or to respect. Another Hebrew word for discern is “ra ah,” which means for one to perceive or draw a conclusion, inspect, or differentiate between. Under Geek culture, a word for “discern” is “diakrino,” which means for one to separate, discriminate or to make a distinction. There is also another Greek word known as “dokimazo,” which means for one to examine, prove/test, approve, or scrutinize. A final Greek word for discern is “anakrino,” which in similarity to dokimazo, in the sense of one examining, and scrutinizing, but in the context of one conducting an interrogation, questioning, searching or making a judgment in order to find the truth or justice regarding the subject. With the term discern now defined, let us now hear the word of the LORD for the 2025 proclamation. Divine discernment is our word for 2025, but it will not just be a calling for human beings because of what we may read in the scriptures. Divine discernment will be an operative act in our lifestyle that will impact us in three possible ways: receiving, knowing and using. As we experience much of the world being revealed to us as to what things really are, the impacts will be to identify the true moral and ethical beliefs we live by. One of the areas that we as the LORD GOD’s creation may be called to operate in “divine discernment” is in “receiving it.” There shall be many things that will be revealed to us by the spirit of the LORD, but the challenge that we may have is the ability to “receive” what we have had exposed to us. Jesus addresses our challenge with belief (trust) as the core in Matthew 17:20. This will be the year that will impact our ability to accept, take hold of, seize, or possess the truth that the LORD exposes us to, even though it may not be believable based on our fleshly morals or ethics. Divine discernment in 2025 will also be based upon a second area, which is our ability to spiritually “know” or recognize and understand the revelations the LORD has allowed to be revealed to us and how it operates according to HIS divine will as expressed in HIS word. I do not prophecy this statement haphazardly, for it is also declared to us as a word of spiritual preparation in Ephesians 5:15-20. This implies we will be required to apply the word of the LORD and HIS character to any and all things that we encounter vs defaulting to our fleshly understanding of matters. All that occurs in this reality is part of the divine plan of the LORD GOD to prepare us for HIS divine and physical return. As we accept the divine plan of GOD based upon HIS word, we are also charged with understanding the art of “divine discernment” as it will give us the ability to “know” how to see beyond the surface of things and be able to grasp the true spiritual nature of things we are presented with. “Knowing divine discernment” will be a wise way for human beings to be able to see and understand things without being limited by the world’s natural interpretation. The final area of “divine discernment” that will impact human beings in 2025 is “the use of divine discernment.” “The use of divine discernment” will lend itself to shaping our judgment in knowing the ways of the LORD which is knowing the difference between what is GOD’s right or righteousness and the world’s wrong or wrongfulness as implied in Hosea 14:9. We will find that it will give us the ability to identify and categorize things we say or do as good or bad, and help us to identify all that we see or hear as to what is Godly truth and what is Satanic or Worldly falsehoods. We will see that this will be a unique year that we as GOD’s ministers will teach, preach, or deliver HIS Word in ways that will guide and inspire people towards Godliness with godliness. “The use of divine discernment” will also assist us with developing a means of commitment to the divine message and work of the LORD. “The use of divine discernment” will also cause us to deeply reflect on the events of our lives and those of others and empower us to operate under a spirit of divine commitment to the divine messages of the LORD. “The use of divine discernment” will be a profound way that develops our prayer relationship with the LORD; for it will increase our dialogue with HIM as the days of old with the prophets of the Old Testament. It will enhance the prophetic anointing that some currently operate with. It will present itself as our ways of having personal or unique conversations with the LORD that will expand beyond our norms of casual conversation. “The use of divine discernment” will become the process for us as human beings to determine the LORD GOD’s desire for our lives as we have exposed to us the true nature of things. This is what thus sayeth the LORD to the church as word for us to meditate on and put into action in the year of 2025. | ||
