Biography
 

Mr. Robert J. Brown is a native of Greenville, North Carolina.  His proudest and most cherished accomplishments are being married to his best friend, Shannon T. Brown, and they have four children, LaMonte J. Brown, Geri Nicole Brown, Jessica Tureaud, and Rashaun Sherrill, and grandchildren LaMonte Jr, LaMya Brown, Micah Jayvon Brown, Marley R. Tureaud, Malachi T. Tureaud, and Maverick O. Tureaud.
 
Robert Brown earned Associate degrees in applied sciences from Lindsey Wilson College and Elizabethtown Community Technical College, specializing in Counseling.  He has his undergraduate degree in Ministry from Canaan Theological Seminary.  He is a graduate of DEOMI [Department of Equal Opportunity Management Institution]-Equal Opportunity Advisor Course, Equal Employment Opportunity Officer Course, Special Emphasis Program Course, Disability Program Course, and the Specialist Course.  He is also a graduate of Facilitation and Advance Mediation training.
 
Robert Brown joined the military as a Cavalryman in July of 1982.  He has traveled on numerous overseas assignments, including Korea, Germany, Japan, Egypt, Kuwait, and Iraq.  His stateside assignments include Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Erwin, California; Fort Stewart, Georgia; and Fort Knox, Kentucky.
 
Robert Brown's military awards include a Bronze Star with Valor, three Meritorious Service medals, six Army Accommodations Medals, and five Army Achievement Medals.  He is a member of An Order of St. George and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
 
He served over 24 years of dedicated military experience in the United States Army.  Presently, he serves as the Fort Knox Equal Employment Opportunity Officer and has performed as the officer for the last 17 years.
 
Robert Brown's community service as a leader includes Devers Youth Center, Louisville Central Community Centers, Neighborhood House, Presbyterian Community Center, and Wesley House Community Services from time period 1995-2007.  Robert Brown has served youth as a mentor, as well as coached for intramural sports and Fort Knox High School (1998-2000).
 
Robert Brown has traveled extensively in the Northern Region of Ghana, West Africa.  As a leader, he has collaborated with government officials and presented seminars on family domestic violence and abuse to nongovernmental organizations in Tamale, Ghana.  He performed as an expert participant in a radio program about family domestic violence and abuse while he was in Ghana.  The community held him in high esteem for his community activism and he was askinned an Elder by the Regent of the Tolon Traditional Area and given the name Nnyazaa.
 
Robert Brown was consecrated as Bishop on September 10, 2023, and installed as Pastor to Fellowship Community Full Gospel Church.
